Mrs Taylor, with the help of Mrs Brennand, Miss Bell and Miss Spicer, spoke to us about the toys that they played with when they were younger. Most of the toys didn’t have batteries and the teachers spent lots of time playing outside on bikes, making dens, making mud pies and skipping. Mrs Taylor showed us her doll and teddy. They looked different to ours and don’t talk or cry like some of ours today. The teachers also played lots of board games such as monopoly, frustration and connect 4. We still use many of these games today. We asked some questions about the toys that the teachers played with.
