In Guided Reading sessions our book, 'Mary Anning - the Girl Who Cracked Open the World', has inspired us to create a group drawing based on Fossils. Like Mary, we have made lots of drawings from some real fossils or photographs. Rick was inspired to try Mary's Ichthyosaur. We used 6B, 2B, biro, graphite sticks and lots of charcoal and white chalk.
