Support for Parents
Lancashire SENDIAS
Sendias help parents with anyone who has a Special Educational Need or Disability. They can help parents understand the jargon used, work out the forms you have to fill in, or navigate the meetings you need to attend. It's often helpful to have a third person to help you remember what you wanted to ask, or to give you confidence to ask the things you don't understand.

Dealing with complaints
The complaints procedure for SEND mirror's the school's other complaints procedures.
- Should a parent have a concern about the special provision made for their child, they should in the first instance discuss this with the class teacher.
- If the concern continues, then they should contact the SENDCO, Mrs Rebecca Singleton, or the Headteacher, Miss Rachel Brown.
- If the concern cannot be resolved then parents may contact the SEND Governor, Mrs Leah Sharples and Chair of Governors, Mrs Louise Benney, who will meet with the parents.
- Parents also have the right to contact the LEA and the SEN Parent Partnership Team based at the Area Education Office (South), East Cliff, Preston.
